Network and Technology Coordinator
Description: The successful candidate will take a leading role in all aspects of existing and emerging technology at the Library. We are seeking a team player who can work with our Department Managers and Staff Work Groups to develop solutions for the growing technological services and challenges confronting libraries today.
Responsibilities include: Maintenance, administration and procurement of telecommunication services, servers, desktop and laptop computers, printers, routers, firewalls, phones, handheld devices, security updates and patches, software deployment, web and email services (excluding graphic design), WiFi.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate and provide guidance and leadership in all Administration and Staff technology initiatives. This may include training and support for staff and public.
Qualifications: Experience in public library setting; experience with networking configuration; proficiency with Microsoft and Linux Servers; PALS Millennium software and applications; Microsoft Office and Apple OS.
This is not a Civil Service Position. MLS is not required but will be considered with appropriate experience.
Salary: Salary is competitive and based on experience.
