Job Description
Full-time position at our Monroe Campus, located in Tannersville, PA. Responsible for oversight and day-to-day management of library operations, including reference services and information literacy instruction.
Performs general library circulation, exam proctoring, and reference duties; Schedules and supervises PT staff, delegates and coordinates assignments, and adjusts workflow as needed to ensure the library provides effective and efficient service to students, faculty, and staff; Demonstrated proficiency in supervision and teamwork, including coordinating and evaluating the work of staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in library science from an ALA accredited college required, as are 3-5 years recent experience, including experience with direct staff supervision (preferably in an academic setting). Proficiency in reference service, and electronic databases. Strong communication and planning skills necessary, as is ability to work effectively with students, faculty and staff.
